hotels and venues
Specialist court maintenance, kept simple.
Padel-led specialism, with the same standards applied to tennis clubs, multi-sport courts and other racket-sport venues. Three service tiers built around how courts actually wear — pick what suits the club's traffic and switch any time.
Routine Court Care
For high-traffic clubs and member venues. Two scheduled visits per month keep surfaces playing true and infill evenly distributed.
- Full court drag brushing (lengthwise & crosswise)
- Debris and leaf clearance
- Court line cleaning
- High-traffic zone treatment
- Walk-through safety inspection
- Photo & written report after each visit
Standard Court Care
For lower-traffic venues and country estates. One visit a month keeps the court in safe, consistent condition between deeper interventions.
- Full court drag brushing
- Debris and leaf clearance
- Court line cleaning
- Surface inspection
- Photo & written report after each visit
Deep Clean & Add-Ons
Bookable on top of any care plan, or as a standalone visit. Annual or bi-annual deep cleans, plus net repair and replacement, infill top-ups and pre-tournament prep — priced by court count and condition.
- Rotary brushing & decompaction
- Sand infill levelling and top-up
- Moss and algae treatment
- Glass panel cleaning
- Net repair & replacement
- Pre-tournament court prep
Built by operators, not contractors.
U Courts was built by people who actually work around the sport — running events, supplying clubs, and seeing first-hand how courts wear under real use. That operator-led standard applies whether we're maintaining a padel club, a tennis venue or a multi-sport facility.
Padel-First Specialism
Sand-dressed turf, glass enclosures, infill behaviour — we work to a padel-specific spec, not a generic synthetic-turf checklist.
Tennis & Multi-Sport Venues
The same standards extend across tennis clubs, MUGAs and other racket-sport facilities — single supplier, single point of contact, one unified care plan.
Photo Report Every Visit
Every visit closes with a written condition report and photographs. You know what was done, what's wearing, and what to plan for next.
Single Point of Contact
One email, one quote, one care plan, one invoice. Less admin for the club manager and a clear owner for everything that happens on your court.
From enquiry to first visit in 14 days.

Outside our regular routes?
We're expanding the U Courts technician network across the UK as new clubs open. If you're outside the East of England or Greater London, we'll still quote — and we'll be honest about whether we can serve you well.
Tell us where you are →A maintenance business built inside the sport.
U Courts is the maintenance arm under the U Padel umbrella — a brand built around the sport, with experience running events, supplying clubs and working closely with the operators who actually keep courts in play.
We started U Courts because the existing options didn't work. Court constructors treat maintenance as a side-line. Generic groundskeepers don't understand sand-dressed turf or glass enclosures. The gap in the middle — a specialist, padel-first maintenance partner that talks to club operators in their own language — wasn't being filled. So we filled it.
Today we run recurring care contracts at clubs across the East of England and Greater London, with a vetted technician network expanding as new venues come online. The brand stays small on purpose: every client has a single point of contact, a consistent care plan, and a written photo report inside 24 hours of every job.
Our sister brand, U Padel, continues as the sport-side identity — running events, partnering with venues, supplying merchandise to clubs like Waltham Abbey, and growing the @upadel.uk Instagram audience where we post court before-and-afters. U Courts is the operator-grade service business; same family, two specialised jobs.
Operator-led
Built by people working close to the sport — events, supply, sponsorship — not a construction firm bolting maintenance on as an afterthought.
Procurement-grade discipline
Standard contracts, fixed scope, written reports, clear handovers. Boring on purpose — because reliability is the product.
Network, not chain
A vetted, branded technician network rather than a logistics operation. Smaller footprint, higher standards, more accountable to each club.
Sport-first
Padel-specialist core, tennis and multi-sport-capable. We service the surface in front of us, not a generic synthetic-turf checklist.
Common questions, straight answers.
How often should a padel court be brushed?
Most member clubs need bi-weekly brushing to maintain consistent ball bounce and even infill. Lower-traffic private courts, country house hotels and corporate facilities are typically fine on a monthly schedule. We confirm the right rhythm at the site visit based on traffic, surface age and exposure.
Do you only maintain padel courts, or tennis and other sports too?
Padel is our specialism but it's not all we do. The same technique and standards apply to tennis clubs, multi-use games areas (MUGAs), squash, hockey and other artificial or sand-dressed sport surfaces. Many of our clients run mixed estates, and we service all of it under a single care plan with one point of contact.
What's included in a deep clean?
Rotary brushing and decompaction, sand infill levelling and top-up where needed, moss and algae treatment, glass panel cleaning, drainage check and a pre-tournament prep where requested. Deep cleans are typically scheduled annually or bi-annually depending on usage.
Can you work around club booking schedules?
Yes — we routinely schedule early mornings, late evenings and out-of-hours where the courts are in heavy use. Premium urban locations carry a small surcharge to cover staff time and travel.
How quickly can you start?
We aim for a quote within one working day, a site visit within seven days, and a first service visit within 14 days of contract signature. Urgent same-week mobilisations are possible — ask at quote stage.
Do you offer one-off cleans without a contract?
Yes — one-off deep cleans, pre-tournament preparations and condition surveys are bookable without a recurring contract. Most clients use a one-off service to baseline a new court before deciding on a routine schedule.
Where are you based?
U Courts is based in Hertfordshire, with active service routes across Essex, Hertfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Suffolk and Greater London. We're expanding the network as demand grows — get in touch if you're outside the current footprint.
